Woodbine Mile Betting Odds
When a race with an international flavor like the Woodbine Mile draws entries that have taken a variety of racing routes to get there, it's often the case that nice odds can be found throughout the contenders in the field. For example, 44-1 shot El Tormenta got up to deny favored Got Stormy in the 2019 edition of the Woodbine Mile. Not only did he pay $91.40 to win, but he keyed a $172.35 exacta, despite that 3-2 favorite placing second! Even when the winner is not such a long shot as El Tormenta, often price horses win the Woodbine Mile: in the last ten years, only four favorites have gotten their pictures taken when all was said and done. So, it is often an exciting betting race!
