Stakes races for the quarter horses include the Mile High Derby, the Cherry Creek Futurity and the Rocky Mountain Futurity. For the thoroughbreds, the biggest stakes races of the season include The Inaugural, The Colorado Derby, and the Arapahoe Park Sprint.

Arapahoe Park offers a little something for everyone. Its facilities include an outdoor grandstand for those who want to soak up some sun while cheering on ther favorites, as well as an air conditioned grandstand for those who prefer to keep cool. General admission seating includes benches and bleachers track-side, table and bench seating at track level, and an indoor theatre grandstand. You might also prefer to saddle up to a clubhouse table with your own private television, located in the upper level of the grandstand.
Feel free to come enjoy the races in your Sunday best or as casual as you wish. Arapahoe Park features a number of concession options as well as stocked bars for beer or mixed drinks.
