The stretch out to 1 ½ miles should help, as he has won two of his three starts over that trip, with his only loss being a third to City of Troy in the Derby (G1) at Epsom. He has been able to win over rain-affected ground, too.

The only horse supplemented to the field on Wednesday, Bluestocking was placed under consideration since the ground is expected to have some give in it. Low post draws tend to play well at Longchamp, so post 3 means draw day was kind to her. She is consistent, in the money in 10 of 12 starts, and she won the Prix Vermeille (G1) last out over this distance on soft Longchamp turf.
Aventure, who missed by ¾ length to Bluestocking in the Vermeille, has run two good efforts against older fillies and mares since her latest freshening. Both of those have come over soft going, and she is consistently good on rain-affected ground. She has the tactical versatility to deal with a big field like this, and as a three-year-old filly she enjoys the lightest impost in the field.
