Oklahoma Horse Racing
Horse racing in Oklahoma has been a part of the history of the state for many years. The state has three racetracks and while primarily the racing is Thoroughbred racing, there is also Quarter Horse racing as well as races for Appaloosas and registered Paint horses. The Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse breeding industries are supported by the various racetracks and all of the tracks offer incentives for horses bred in Oklahoma.
